Price Watkins Media, Inc. (PWM) is a design consultancy that specializes in magazines, brands, websites, books, corporate and consumer literature. Ian Price and Ray Watkins founded Price Watkins Design Ltd in London in 1995, with clients ranging from the National Portrait Gallery to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
Both Ian and Ray have led design teams producing national magazines. Ian Price was formerly Design Director of Consumers’ Association and Ray Watkins was Art Director of the Telegraph Magazine. Ian was also a Senior Designer at the BBC.
In 2007, Ian Price moved to San Francisco to establish PWM, the US subsidiary of Price Watkins Design Ltd. In a short space of time, PWM has established a reputation for creating modern and workable design solutions on time and within budget.
The directors have a wide-ranging background in design for both print and electronic media. They have created the blueprint design of many renowned nationwide publications, but also enjoy working on existing titles with established design criteria on a ‘policy of continual improvement.’ The consultancy has worked on a wide range of projects with budgets from low to lavish.
